SERVICES
Private Utility Locating
The law requires you to call 811 and have your public utilities located before you dig. Public Utility companies will only locate what they own (main lines running to the meter. i.e. water, electric, gas, oil, sewer and telephone). Cowboy Locating, LLC,will find and locate any and all underground utilities and structures.
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is one of the most effective ways to locate underground storage tanks, septic tanks, water and sewer lines, irrigation lines and much more. GPR is a less destructive and safer means of locating underground utlities.
Utility Mapping (Survey Grade)
Cowboy Locating LLC, works closely with a top survey companies in our area to provide survey quality mapping of your utiltiy needs.
ABOUT
After working with diverse clientele as a crew chief for a surveying company for many years, owner/operator Marc Hungerford recognized the lack of availability of groups/companies that perform private locating. When the need arose for utilities to be located and surveyed for design drawings, we in the Laramie area lacked the ability to find someone within the region that could complete these tasks. Cowboy Locating, LLC was created to fill this void in the industry. Owner Marc Hungerford has completed his certification through Staking University and has 16 years of surveying experience. Marc has experience with University of Wyoming building projects, transmission lines, Wyoming Department of Transportation projects, numerous pipelines, and endless engineering site designs. Marc has comprehensive knowledge of the many aspects of surveying and the relationship that utility locating contributes to the total design picture.
